Approach: Individual or in pairs
What we study:
This is an essential robotics course teaching students to construct more than 72 LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 robots, make self-contained robots, and analyze physical and chemical phenomena through creating models that will help them easily master materials from future physics and chemistry classes in school.
What do we achieve:
As a result of learning, children will gain knowledge about the operation and structure of a large number of devices and mechanisms, develop the skill to independently design robots, and program them using a visual programming language. They will also develop the skills of programming algorithms creation, the division of tasks into separate steps, work planning, and the ability to share duties within the working group.
Important Covid-19 Information:
With the current COVID pandemic, we will do everything possible to provide a safe and healthy environment for all students and teachers. Our measures will include: Cleaning and sanitizing regularly, minimization of traffic (only 8 children per class), frequent washing and sanitizing of hands, wearing of face masks where necessary and as per the guidelines set by the CNESST and the Quebec Government. We will comply with all protocols put forward.
